Senior Firmware Developer

We develop new software: are you the Senior Firmware Developer we are looking for?

Our development team works from home to create new products and make our current products even better. For example, we have developed a vibration monitor for the construction sector with an accompanying web platform called Honeycomb. We operate out of Leek (when there is no coronavirus): would you like to work there? Great! If you live somewhere farther away, like Limburg, and prefer to work from home, that would be fine too!

Our team will grow in 2021, and we are looking for a new Senior Firmware Developer. This is a hands-on position and you will start in one of our scrum teams.

Your future colleagues really enjoy working for us because we are very flexible and the team gives them all the responsibility and support they need. We have a relatively small team, which means you will have an immediate impact on the end products. We listen to everyone, especiallyas we grow: fresh ideas are invaluable.

What we are looking for:

You have at least an HBO educational background and intellectual level. You are highly experienced and consider yourself to be a senior developer.

  • You are helpful and eager to review the work of the other team members.
  • You work meticulously and efficiently.
  • You take responsibility for your tasks and always try to carry these out to the best of your ability.
  • You are independent and also work well in a team.
  • You speak and write English fluently.

We work with the following technologies:

  • Server architecture: Amazon AWS EC2; Linux server; Docker and Docker Swarm; Ansible.

  • Firmware development: GNU C; GNU Make; NumPy/SciPy; Google Protobuf.

  • Continuous development & integration: Wercker; GitHub.

Applications If you would you like to apply for this position, please email your resume and application letter to Rianne Schut at rschut@omnidots.com. If you have any questions, you can also contact us at this email address. No agencies or unrelated enquiries, please.
