From Frustration to Innovation: the Journey of R.W. Gillespie & Associates with Omnidots

As new users, we found the initial setup for the Swarm unit quite easy. While launching our first project was generally a positive experience, we did encounter some minor challenges. Initial complications arose primarily from problems with activating our mobile plan through Omnidots for data collection. We had to tether the Swarm unit to a mobile hotspot, which would time out from inactivity. Once our data plan was properly activated, the Omnidots unit functioned effectively, meeting our expectations.

The reporting tools have made a significant positive impact on our workflow. Although we faced some initial difficulties with the Report Template, once we established it, the process of generating and downloading reports became quick and simple. The ability to send reports on a customizable timeline, without needing to manually download data, has proven to be a valuable enhancement, ultimately saving us considerable time.

Automatically generate reports to the customer

We chose not to utilize the auto-report feature, as it was set to send reports at midnight. Given that our projects typically conclude around 6-7 pm, our clients prefer receiving results sooner. Whether we rely on manual report generation or explore automated options, we are equipped to provide timely and accurate information to our clients, which helps foster positive relationships.
