Meet Igno | CCO

Igno joined Omnidots as CCO in January, taking responsibility for the commercial strategy behind the company’s next phase of international growth.

What attracted him to Omnidots was not simply the technology already in place, but what that technology has made possible.

Environmental monitoring is traditionally a conservative industry. Yet Omnidots has already helped move vibration monitoring from analog technology to digital MEMS sensors, and from offline data logging to connected, real-time monitoring through Honeycomb.

For Igno, the next challenge is taking that foundation further.

From monitoring data to infrastructure intelligence

Monitoring is increasingly moving away from collecting data simply to review it afterwards.

Projects need reliable information while work is taking place. Teams need to know what is happening, respond when necessary and spend less time manually bringing information together.

That shift is central to how Igno sees the future of Omnidots.

“The market has definitively been moving away from after-the-fact data logging. The opportunity is to provide trusted field data and connect it seamlessly with automated workflows in Honeycomb.”

The value is not in generating more data for its own sake. It is in making accurate information easier to access, interpret and act on.

Bringing monitoring together

One of the challenges Igno sees across the market is fragmentation.

Different instruments, separate platforms and individual workflows can make environmental monitoring unnecessarily difficult to manage, particularly as projects grow in scale.

Omnidots already brings vibration, sound and air quality monitoring together within Honeycomb, giving project teams a more consolidated view of environmental conditions.

The platform continues to develop around that principle: reducing the number of disconnected processes customers need to manage and making site oversight more efficient.

Growth built around customers and local teams

As CCO, Igno's focus extends beyond products and markets. It also includes creating the commercial structure needed to support growth across different regions.

His approach to leadership is based on clear responsibilities, accountability and giving local teams the freedom to execute effectively within a shared strategy.

That becomes increasingly important as Omnidots grows across Europe and North America.

Partnerships also have an important role to play. Rather than expecting one company to provide every possible monitoring technology, Igno sees opportunities to work with complementary specialists and continue expanding the value customers can access through the Omnidots ecosystem.

The objective remains the same: make environmental site monitoring easier to manage as customer requirements become broader and more complex.

Meeting the industry at INTERGEO

INTERGEO is therefore much more than a product exhibition.

For Igno, it is one of the key moments of the year to meet customers, exchange ideas with industry professionals, discover new technology and discuss where environmental monitoring is heading next.

He is particularly interested in conversations with organizations managing monitoring at scale.

One question he would encourage visitors to bring to the Omnidots booth is:

“How can Honeycomb automate the manual work in my current monitoring and reporting process?”

Because that is where the difference between collecting monitoring data and actually using it efficiently becomes visible.

Visitors will be able to see how Omnidots combines field hardware with Honeycomb to create a connected workflow for vibration, sound and environmental monitoring.

Proven Precision. Total Protection.

For Igno, the Omnidots promise comes down to trust.

Reliable decisions start with reliable measurements.

“Proven Precision. Total Protection.” means providing highly accurate field data that helps project teams understand what is happening around their infrastructure and reduce risk in complex construction environments.

Looking ahead

Over the coming years, Igno wants to see Omnidots strengthen its position throughout its core markets in Europe and North America while continuing to develop beyond monitoring hardware alone.

The ambition is to build a broader software and technology ecosystem around environmental monitoring, giving customers one increasingly connected way to understand and manage what is happening on site.

Outside work, Igno switches commercial strategy for tennis, time with family and friends, and music through a sound system he considers worth the investment.

And despite the focus on commercial execution, there are several topics capable of derailing the agenda completely: classic cars, new consumer electronics and a good whisky.

Welcome to Omnidots, Igno.
