Omnidots North America is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated, early-career Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help expand our presence across the United States and Canada. This role is ideal for someone who’s energized by cold outreach, lead generation, and starting conversations with new prospects.
You’ll play a critical role at the top of the sales funnel by researching accounts, reaching out to potential customers, and setting the stage for long-term partnerships around our environmental monitoring solutions. This is a hybrid position based in Burnsville, Minnesota, with occasional travel to industry events and conferences in North America.

About the Role
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), your primary mission is to create new opportunities for the sales team. You’ll focus on outbound prospecting and cold outreach by identifying the right companies, starting conversations, and qualifying interest.
You’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams in both North America and at Omnidots headquarters in the Netherlands, gaining exposure to a full B2B sales process while building a strong foundation for career growth in sales.
You’ll also have opportunities to represent Omnidots North America at trade shows and industry events.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential customers and target accounts
- Execute cold outreach via phone, email, and other channels
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and schedule meetings for Account Executives
- Maintain accurate records of outreach and activity in the CRM
- Learn and clearly communicate the value of Omnidots’ technical solutions
- Support sales and marketing initiatives as needed
- Represent Omnidots at conferences and events across the U.S. and Canada
- Assist in proposal creation, invoicing, and other bookkeeping and logistics tasks
Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Attitude
Required
- Enthusiasm for a career in construction and infrastructure
- Located near the Minneapolis / St. Paul metro area
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in sales, customer-facing roles, or a related field
- Ability to travel occasionally within the United States and Canada (10%)
Soft Skills
- Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for cold calling and outreach
- Curiosity and willingness to learn technical products and customer use cases
- Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively while working remotely
- Persistence and resilience when facing rejection
- Team-oriented mindset and eagerness to collaborate across functions
