About the role

As a Finance & Administration Specialist, you play a crucial role in our organization. You ensure accurate and efficient handling of financial administration for both our European and US operations. You will work with tools such as Exact Online, QuickBooks, and PayHawk, and support the controller with monthly and yearly closings.

You will also play a key role in order processing: registering and handling customer orders, coordinating with Customer Success, Sales, and Logistics, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. This way, you add value to both our finance team and our operations.

This role offers a dynamic mix of financial administration, reporting, and operational support.

What you will do

  • Financial administration
    • Process invoices, payments, and expense claims (via PayHawk)
    • Manage cash and bank transactions
    • Support monthly and yearly closings
    • Handle US administration in QuickBooks
  • Order processing
    • Register, process, and check customer orders
    • Align with Customer Success, Sales, and Logistics
  • Process optimization & support
    • Identify opportunities to improve processes
    • Increase efficiency in Exact Online, QuickBooks, and PayHawk
    • Support audits and financial controls
  • Reporting & communication
    • Prepare reports for the controller
    • Communicate with Finance, Customer Success, and other departments
    • Act as the go-to person for administrative questions

Requirements & skills

  • Positive, detail-oriented, and proactive attitude
  • Experience with administrative and accounting tasks
  • Familiar with accounting software such as Exact Online (experience with QuickBooks is a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and structure
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • MBO/HBO degree in finance/administration or equivalent experience
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
