Home Frequently asked questions What do Omnidots SMS messages look like?
Using the Omnidots solution, you can customize your alarm notifications and be notified of exceedances and other events by mail and/or SMS.
The SMS has 3 variants:
In this example, the measuring point is called "SWARM 1 demo measuring point" and the sensor name is "HOSEVE".
The Vtop message looks like this:
Swarm 1 demo measuri HOSEVE 2019-07-25 16:35:06 X Fd 0.0Hz Vt 0.0mm/s 0.0% Y Fd 2.0Hz Vt 9.0mm/s 60.5% Z Fd 0.0Hz Vt 0.0mm/s 0.0%
The Atop message looks like this:
Swarm 1 demo measuri HOSEVE 2019-07-25 16:37:06 X Fd 0.0Hz At 0.0mm/s2 0.0% Y Fd 2.0Hz At 900.0mm/s2 90.0% Z Fd 0.0Hz At 0.0mm/s2 0.0%
And the PVS message like this:
Swarm 1 demo measuri HOSEVE 2019-07-25 16:35:06 PVS Vt 9.0mm/s 60.5%
The measuring point is displayed with up to 20 characters and the numbers are shown as '> 999' if they are above 999. This was done to save space for other notification data, as the space in a text message is limited.
